Every student has gone through rough times at any point of their education. Some people may be good in handling pressure and workload properly, but there sure are other people who tend to get weak and eventually experience a meltdown when the going gets tough. A Snapchat user happened to encounter a person, who appears to be a university student and caught the breakdown in their Snapchat stories.

The video starts with the student seemingly confused as he stares at his laptop. The caption on the Snap reads “He’s been stressing for the last 20 minutes”. The student looked like he’s been working on something for hours and then suddenly something went wrong or puzzling. On the next snap, the student can be seen still sitting on his desk, but his hand movements grew bigger than in the first video. He scrunches his face a lot more which makes it turn red.

The third Snap’s caption reads “U ok?” since the student was now standing and walking back and forth behind his chair. This time, it really seems that what he is going through is not easy and might not be solved immediately. It was on the next video that it started to be worrisome, the student was seen sitting on the floor next to the bookshelf. He stares blankly and after a while, he is now seen lying down as he was hugging his knees. This was the ultimate stage of his breakdown, and it was accompanied by a series of crying emojis.

The video has earned 39 million views since it was posted last May 19 and has also gathered different reactions from netizens. Being captioned as “This guy’s breakdown sums up my education”, there were tons of positive comments saying that this was so relatable in so many levels, especially for college students. However, there were also sad and negative comments saying that this situation should not be ridiculed, as this shows early signs of depression. On another angle, some people are skeptical about the whole video, as it appears to them as it was staged to gain attention.
