In today’s technology, people love to take selfies. Especially when they do something special or extreme so they may be able to impress their social media contacts. However, this compilation of videos show how dangerous these attempts for a perfect selfie is. Some shots are graphic, but are hoping to warn travellers to be more careful during their adventures.
In the first video, it can be assumed that a group of hikers was able to reach the summit of a mountain and they are taking the time to document their success by taking selfies and more photos of their view.
One hiker goes the extreme, by hanging on a large rock and trying to pose as if he is climbing on it. The shot was successful, but as the hiker goes down from the rock, he slips on the rock he stepped on, causing him to lose his balance and grip. The video was immediately cut short, but it can be seen how worried the other hikers were as the one who fell immediately vanished from the frame.
On the second video, a man can be seen walking casually on the edge of a tall building. The presence of fog in the video somehow gives the viewers an idea of how tall the building was.
As the man walks on the edge, he suddenly misses his step and slipped from the edge, immediately causing him to fall right to the ground. The video still went on after he fell, and some viewers waited for a parachute to appear, but to no avail.
Some commenters immediately pointed out the lack of harness from the edge of the building, that will definitely safeguard anyone trying the activity.
The last video shows a group of men standing on a rail track, casually waiting for the train which is about to pass. As the train approaches, two of them walked to a distance, but the victim stayed where he was standing.
He was successful in taking a badass selfie while the train was passing just a few inches away from him. But little did he know that there was something protruding from the edge of the train, which slammed him right on the head.
The victim then fell and it can be seen how hard the hit was, leaving him motionless to the ground.
