As commuters, we all have a share of incidents where we fall asleep in a public vehicle. In most cases, it ends up tragic, like we got robbed or we fail to alight at our destination that we are brought to a much farther place. Some people share this kind of experience online, trying to warn other commuters to be wary of their surroundings while commuting. And as much as possible, try not to fall deeply into sleep.
FEU student Jan Czerny Oraiz posted a series of photos that claims to be a similar experience. He started off in his post by saying how tired he was on that day coming from and exhausting battery exam.
Jan said he chose to ride the train from Legarda station for a faster travel time and to avoid heavy traffic. When he was comfortably seated, he took a nap – probably like he used to when commuting. When he woke up, he was in for a surprise.
He started hearing different station names like Blacktown and Strathfield until he decided to alight at a certain Circular Quay station.
Shocked to learn that he was in a totally different place than Manila. Jan started to roam around the place and took some pictures while he was at it.
At a certain point, he also bumped into a few friends who were also surprised to see him at the unfamiliar place. Jan ended his post by saying he was thankful as he was able to get back home. He also gave a warning to everyone who commutes alone so they wouldn’t experience the same thing that happened to him.
As it turns out, Jan’s post is an entire script just to show how he was during his vacation in Sydney, Australia.
It also appears that Jan has prepared so much for these series of photos as his poses were convincing enough to believe he was really lost. Oh, did we forget to say Jan was wearing his school uniform complete with his ID in all of his photos? Within a week since it was posted, Jan’s post has gained 13,000 reactions among netizens who found his post amusing.
